Hey guys! I'm a youth pastor and worship leader and songwriter from Northeast Ohio. And I'm actually the co-founder of NewChristianArtist.com. I was frustrated as an artist trying to getting my music out to more people, so I took the advice of my friend and now business partner, Matt Harnett, and we built the place to get christian music heard with the help of some really awesome people! I've been constantly writing worship songs to Jesus Christ since I was about 13. The best songs seem to really come out of that place of just being with God, worshiping Him in total honesty. I try to bring honest, down-to-earth lyrics to the music – just writing whatever comes out of my heart. Jesus Christ has been so amazing to me in how He's saved me from myself and given me a purpose in giving Him glory and a unique purpose in youth pastoring and music ministry. God is so incredible! As far as style goes, I love rock, but I do vary in style at times from pop to power-pop to a little jazzy, even a blues feel depending on the song. I love hearing variety in a CD and I love many styles of music so hopefully you're hear that come across in my albums. My 1st CD, The Way You Move Me, is doing really well and I'm so blessed when people are ministered to by it! My beautiful wife, Danielle, joins me playing acoustic and adding beautiful harmonies. The 2nd CD was made with our Youth Worship Band, DRIVEN and I'm so proud of their hearts and their talents! I pray that as people listen to my music that God will give them 'freedom to worship' as one song declares. Jesus Christ is wanting us to worship Him with total abandonment, singing our songs of worship to Him with "pure hearts and clean hands," "not letting anything take the place of God in our hearts." My prayer is God will set you free to worship Him like He made you to. I also pray you'll be ministered to when you're going through times through songs like Take It Away and There Will Come A Day, a song that offers hope in our promised eternal life in Heaven through Jesus Christ and In Your Hands, a song that invokes the listener to place their life, "everything" in the sovereign hands of God. And most of all, I pray that you'll give your life to the Lamb of God, Jesus Christ. He is so worthy of our praise the passion of our hearts. Our 3rd album, Come To The Cross, came out in May, 2009. It invites the listener to come to the cross of Jesus Christ and give your life to Him. Only then, do we find true life, a life of meaning, purpose and passion. This CD is great for personal and corporate worship and it also makes a great witnessing tool as many of the songs clearly explain the gospel message.
