Artist Bio:

Howard is a 25 year veteran in the clinical healthcare field working as an ER Nurse and Director. He has a Masters degree in Healthcare Administration from the Univ of Missouri and is a Tiger fan! He is married and and has 2 children. He has traveled extensively consulting to make emergency departments better and believes it is because he invests in the people that is what makes him successful. Turning Eyes has many different sounds. The vocals are direct with excellent smooth background singers. The music ranges as it Rocks, and has some Southern Gospel foot tapping music and acoustic folk sounds and smooth keyboard sounds that are pleasant to listen to. Turning Eyes was written to turn the listeners eyes towards a loving heavenly Father no matter what your circumstances may be. Howard's relationship with his Lord really comes out in his music. The songs range from declaration to worship to a time to rock out. They are written so that the problem may be sung about but the chorus and ending will always turn your eyes toward the Father. Howard draws from the 5 books he has published as well as his personal experiences with the hurting and in the healthcare field as a registered nurse and hospital administrator to write and sing his way into your heart. He considers himself an artist that walks the walk. He doesnt write of theories but of experiences and joys and lifes ups and downs and challenges. Howard's contentment comes from serving the Lord by helping others. He is often seen spending time with those who seem down and out and have lost or are losing hope. He often says, " this life isnt about me but what I can do for others." Howard loves hanging out with those who arent in mainstream religion and showing them that there is a God in Heaven who cares for them. Like the God he serves, you can't put Howard in a box. The apostle Paul made his tents and I am a registered nurse that is the Director of an Emergency Dept. in a Trauma Center. I minister regularly to patients, staff, the down and out broken hearted and those on their last thread of hope. I sing to turn their eyes, hearts, and lives to the Lord. I also am known for a great sense of humor so my show isn't totally serious unless the spirit calls for it. I have references if you need them.
