Since 2002, I have been working to perfect the art of hip-hop. I have performed at coffee shops, local venues, bars,
restaurants, fine arts festival, churches, and open mics. I strive to bring only the most original and creative rhymes possible. I am now 21 years old and continue to perfect my craft, while sharing a message.
As a 21 year old, I know what life is like for the youth of this generation. I'm living it! Music plays a big role in shaping the thoughts and beliefs of our youth. Hip-Hop and rap music has had a lot of negative representation, but it was never meant to. This is an important art form just like any other genre. My goal is to show the love of God through rhythm and rhyme in a way people can enjoy. I like to get silly and have fun, but I also make a point to get deep and speak life and truth.
The Silly Emcee is my image and my philosophy. I think it's important to laugh and to enjoy life and be happy. Music does not have to be "hard" or super serious. At the same time, music should have meaning. Therefore, I combine both silliness with seriousness to bring great balance.
