Artist Bio:

Craig Anderson grew up in a large musical family of 10 kids and is no stranger to the heart of a child. As a life-long songwriter, musician, and father of 4, singing and relating to kids has always been a part of his life as well as his passion. Craig's songs come from a sincere love for knowing and learning about God. "I Wanna Follow Jesus" is Craig's first solo CD for kids. The songs on this CD have been loved by children for many years. Craig loves to tells stories about growing up in a large family. Many of these stories inspired him to write many of songs on this CD. From Na-Na to I Like Jesus, children relate to Craig and what it's like to be a kid who loves Jesus. Craig comes from a background of over 20 years experience as worship leader, composer, and recording artist of 10 CDs. "I Wanna Follow Jesus" is his latest release.

I've been writing songs for as long as I can remember. When I was still in grade school living in the Ozarks, I used to sit up in a tree house back behind our doublewide trailer that was jam packed with my parents and 10 kids and sing songs that I had written to God. It would be fair to say that they probably weren't the best songs in the world. But to God they were priceless. God has given every child a perfect song to sing. Psalm 8:2 says that He has taught children and nursing infants to give Him praise… It's a powerful thing when kids sing to God! It's a bit of heaven on earth! So, let's help them be free. Let's show them how to dance, laugh, run, jump, play, and sing. We mine as well. Jesus said that the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to such as these… Matthew 19:14 Thanks for stopping by.
