Artist Bio:

First and foremost, more than anything in this world, I am in love with Jesus. I am a worship leader and song writer from Council Bluffs, IA. I was raised in church and I sang my first solo in the booster band when I was 8 years old. I attended Christian school and was part of the choir that toured and sang in various churches in high school. I have performed at various venues during my teens and early 20s from talent shows, contests, weddings, to college graduations. I begin to feel the call to lead worship in 1997. Worship has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I just wasn’t aware that’s what it was when I was singing songs in my room or in the car when we were riding around. Little did I know then that I was preparing for the future that God had in store for me. I grew up in Texas but moved to Iowa 12 years ago. I currently attend a multi-cultural church. Our praise team is known for excellence and has traveled to Missouri, Kansas as well as many area churches to lead worship. We also took part in a tribute to Andre Crouch. We are currently working on going on a trip aboard the Royal Caribbean to lead worship for high seas ministries, where we will minister to the staff members who are from all over the world. My style is based on influences in southern gospel, contemporary as well as gospel. I love songs that swell in praise as well as songs that softly usher in the presence of the Lord. There is nothing more fulfilling than ushering in the presence of God. Worship is the place I go to find shelter. I know that when I am in that place of worship, answers to questions will come, peace will be restored, joy will become overflowing. My motto in life is “to worship him I live!” I pray that in every area of my life will reflect a form of worship unto the Lord. I was a late bloomer when it comes to writing songs. This didn’t start until 3 or 4 years ago. I have since written several songs and we have sang two of them in my church. Writing lyrics comes easy to me but the music portion does not. I am more of a lyricist. The only song currently on here is just me taking an old song and putting my own twist on it. I will hopefully be adding more in the near future.
